All Oils are not Created Equal
I’ve known that, for example, coconut oil can take a higher temperature than EVOO. But what temperature exactly is that and what other oils should we consider using for high heats? After doing a little research, I distilled a list to these below. I found it interesting! Do not exceed the “smoke point” as the oil will not be good for consumption and will lose delicate flavors. The more refined the oil is= the more impurities removed=the higher the smoke point. All good to know!
