Burned Pie Crust No More!
Here’s a tip I picked up from my sister recently and it is brilliant! To keep your pie crust edges from overcooking, cut a large circle out of parchment paper and then cut out the inner circle. Place over the top of crust, covering just the edges and bake as usual. This year’s pumpkin pie will have a perfect crust! It isn’t too late to try it before yours goes in the oven. (I decided to switch things up a bit and use Oat Flour for the crust instead of regular, making it gluten free. Sure hope it is a hit!)
