Charcuterie Board for Your Holiday Entertaining
Greetings Fellow Foodies!
Are you entertaining this weekend or bringing a dish to a gathering? Either way, I’ve got you covered! This popular Charcuterie Board is a must and SO easy to put together. What is “charcuterie?” It literally is “cold cooked meats collectively” according to Siri, and we know she gets it! (Flashback circa 1990’s…..this is not your childhood lunchable!) Use my video as a guide and change it up as you need. Find a large platform. Arrange cheeses first, then meats, then the fruits, nuts, spreads, veggies and chocolates. Olives – LOVE them but be sure the pits are removed. Who needs a dental emergency in the middle of a party? Yeah, NO! Add lots of tongs and servers so fingers do not need to touch the foods. You can tell I had so much fun with this that my bamboo board runneth over! I need a bigger tray next time….or several! Make it your own, keep it eclectic and have fun! If you do an entire table of boards, use some height to keep the visual appeal interesting. Add some candles. There are no “rules” but simply guidelines. As long as you have a variety of colors, textures and flavors, you have nailed it. Enjoy!
