Football and Frito Pie
Greetings Fellow Foodies and Happy Fall!
Are you ready for some football? Happy football fall with Frito Pie! My husband and I (and our two Samoyeds) spent a few days in Santa Fe last May and stumbled upon this gem….Frito Pie! I had to partake and share this novelty that just screamed FOOTBALL FOOD! One of the original Woolworth’s Five and Dime on the square in Santa Fe claims this fun idea….but so do other states. No matter, it is worth jumping on the Frito train, regardless of your “team!” Call it Frito Pie, Frito Boat or Walking Taco, it is a fun, easy and fantastic way to serve your friends at halftime.
