Phyllo Wrapped Asparagus
Greetings, Fellow Foodies!
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Easter or just Spring with a green vegetable!! This Phyllo Wrapped Asparagus is my go-to veggie when I want to have fun with the greens in my meal. PLUS it is a huge time-saver, my favorite bonus….make ahead and freeze before cooking. On the day needed, defrost at room temperature and then bake as directed. Who doesn’t need one less thing to do the day of entertaining? Yup! Plus you have already cleaned up the few things used to prepare this awesome dish.
I LOVE this light and crunchy phyllo dough snuggling the asparagus with lemon juice and cheese tucked inside. If you are so inclined, zest some of the lemon before juicing and sprinkle it in with the cheese for extra lemony deliciousness. Please use this as a guide and make it your own.
