Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon hot, smokey Spanish paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon roasted garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 log (6-ounces) Brie
  • Milk for brushing Brie
  • Sliced apples, crackers and bread for serving

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine paprika, mustard, cayenne, cumin, garlic powder, thyme, ground pepper and white pepper.

Place the Brie on a piece of waxed paper longer than the cheese is. Brush liberally with milk. Sprinkle half the spice mixture over and on all sides of it, pressing it onto the cheese roll.
