Using a melon baller, scoop as many balls of cantaloupe as possible (or at least the same number as strips of prosciutto.) Place cut prosciutto on a flat surface. Place a melon ball in the center of a strip, folding the ends up over and securing with toothpick. Repeat until all have been prepared. Chill and serve on a decorative plate. May be made a few hours in advance but not the day before. If using basil, skewer onto top end of toothpick so it sits nicely in view.Method
