How My Second Cookbook Literally Became “Cooking 101”
Thanks to the Colorado Authors’ League, I was fortunate enough to participate on a recent Cookbook Panel. We discussed our pathways to publication along with a very informal Q & A session. The Colorado Book Festival was held in downtown Denver at the Main Library, which included discussion panels throughout the day, among many other events. Over 100 Colorado authors participated in some capacity. Each one of us on the Cookbook panel had a very different and diverse story. Here is a little YouTube video discussing my two cookbooks and how the second one literally became “Cooking 101”. Our audience could not have been kinder. They were very interactive and engaging as we shared stories and ideas sprinkled with lots of laughs. I learned that there are a lot of people out there who would passionately love to write a cookbook but have no idea how to make it happen. This event was the perfect forum to learn the process.
