Three Small Plates to make ahead for Your Next Party
We just hosted a Small Plate Party, aka Wedding Eve Tasting Party, with ten hungry tasters. These are three of the eighteen items I made in advance to film. Always make as many things ahead of time as possible so that you are not scrambling around pretending to be relaxed. I AM relaxed and enjoy our parties! This was such a fun evening! Each guest received a ballot and pen to write comments and to vote for items they enjoyed. The constructive comments were so helpful! When we host the Wedding Eve meal in July, we’ll be ready! My rule of thumb is to include lots of colors, textures and flavors while recognizing food preferences and allergies. People appreciate that. To say the least, this was a very eclectic spread!
