Wedding Rehearsal Dinner on the Eclectic Side!
Greetings Fellow Foodies!
I recently had the honor of cooking for my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner and boy was it fun! We had lots of small plates, a few mains and a few desserts. It was a nice array of colors, textures and flavors catering to vegetarians and carnivores alike. There were no complaints! My sweet son and musician took this video for me and sang the song the next night at the wedding reception. It was so sweet and heart-felt. Did I do all this food prep the day before? NO! I honestly started about two months ahead and froze as was possible. Bottom line – make a plan and pace yourself! I still have a “day job” and need to enjoy weekends on the boat with my husband and our two Samoyeds. Balance is key for me! The day-of was filled with last-minute things and table decor, the fun stuff. Shoot, it is all fun for me but nice when it all comes together.
