Do you have a Little Free Library nearby? If you are wondering what this is, check this link to find one near you! They are all over the world. This week, authors from The Colorado Authors’ League will be donating books to free libraries all over the Denver metro area. This generous system fosters literacy by sharing books. If anyone has run out of reading material during the Pandemic, check out one of these little treasures! Take a book, give a book. Easy!
I am excited to have donated two cookbooks to the Little Free Library on 9660 S. Salford Lane, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. This particular library was donated by Girl Scout Troop 62211 from Bear Canyon Elementary School and is nestled on the school’s property. My idea is to bring families together by enjoying time in the kitchen preparing new recipes. Cooking may easily be turned into lessons involving nutrition, art, math and science. I truly hope some local families enjoy my recipes soon and have fun with homeschooling through food! This particular library is also offering food for anyone in need. What a wonderful community this is!
